Life Is Hard
In the face of loss we are challenged to keep going unlike any other time. Sometimes loss is a result of our own actions, but other times the loss is out of our control. In the case of athletic loss sometimes the other team or individual is just better then we are, and they accumulate more points.
Loss can paralyze us, or it can drive us to better experiences. It has paralyzed me before, and I've frozen in fear to do anything. That's why I created Beyond Sad. It gives hope to those who have loss through depression.
This is not a plug for Beyond Sad because what my purpose here and now is to give you hope in the face of whatever you are facing.
Life is hard, but you are not alone. I'm not going to give you religious platitudes because the hurt is real, and God doesn't do that to us in our moments of grief.
He is present, and this post is a reminder that sometimes putting one foot in front of the other is the most powerful thing you can do.
We aren't just interested in clean houses here. We are interested in clean minds. I know life is hard, but prayer is real, and I'm praying for you.
